Backyard Transformation

June 9, 2014

Check out this backyard transformation.  Recently completed backyard planting design had several spots that needed a creative touch.  With the pool pavers and wall already in place when we arrived we had to work with existing inlaid planting beds and small spaces to bring the more life possible to this space.  Reworking an ever green hedge, installing a woodland planting and softening all the hardscape with perennials and some specimen trees went a long way in revitalizing this small space.

Seating wall planting leading up to a beautiful Japanese maple, and a sedum garden full of river rock incorporated into the deck.

Here see the hedge blocking out the back neighbors, the pool filter completely disguised by dwarf evergreens in the back right, the sedum gardens in the patio and how nice the woodland planting blends into the surroundings in the far back. All of these com together to make a secluded backyard getaway.
