Add Fall Color with Container Gardens

Fall has arrived. Temperatures have dropped and our famous New England foliage has peaked. Your planting beds may have faded but container gardens  are a great way enhance your home in the hot summer or cooler fall. Seasonal arrangements add color and texture to small spaces and paved areas. Well placed containers create bold statements or subtle accents in outdoor living areas. Most of us think of mums when think of fall but there are a variety of plants that thrive in cooler temperatures. Sedum, decorative kale, coral bells, coleus (pictured) and decorative grasses are a wonderful way to add fall color to your home. Don’t be afraid to mix things up to create some unique combinations.
